Jennifer Hudson, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Kid Rock, and the Jonas Brothers are to honor Neil Diamond, 68, and sing to raise money for charity as Grammy Award kick off weekend.

It's a double-whammy, Diamond said. I get a chance to help raise a lot of money and a little plaque that says, `Hey, you're OK.'

I love the idea of other people singing my songs. They'll do it their own way, Diamond said by phone from his recording studio in Los Angeles, according to reports, I let them pick whichever ones they wanted.

Singer-song writer, Diamond will perform during Sunday's Grammy Award telecast at Staples Center, will be honored also by Grammy nominee Adele, Josh Groban and Faith Hill, MusiCares Person of the Year on Friday night.
