Cup your hand to your ear in classic Hulkster fashion because Hulk Hogan has spoken, specifically about his divorce from Linda Bollea and the fact he is suing her for defamation, all news that broke on Friday.

Bollea wrote in her autobiography released earlier this year, Wrestling The Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes, that Hulkamania was physically abusive toward her during their 24-year marriage, also calling her ex-husband a pathological liar and a narcissist. She also said on Matty P's Radio Happy Hour in April that a little bird told her that Hogan had engaged in an intimate relationship with male wrestler Brutus The Barber Beefcake.

After the four-year crazy divorce I thought I'd heard everything I could hear in the courtroom, said Hogan (real name: Terry Bollea) to Us Weekly. Then, all of a sudden she says I abused her, that I was violent. She told everybody that I was a homosexual. If any of that was true, I would admit it, and I was a homosexual I would embrace it. It's just so crazy to hear, so I have a real problem with it.

Hogan added: If you're going to say I'm something that I'm not to try to ruin my career and my livelihood. I have to answer her back.

Hogan has done just that. On Dec. 8, he filed a lawsuit at a Florida court for unspecified punitive, general and special damages, even demanding a trial by jury. According to the lawsuit documents obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com, Hogan said that Bollea's comments about violence and abuse are false and that her statement regarding him having relations with Beefcake is defamatory and uttered with malice afterthought.

Hogan also said that he thinks Bollea wrote her book in an effort to revive her sagging 'career.'

According to Yahoo News India, Beefcake will follow Hogan's lead, having already instructed his attorney to draft up a lawsuit, which he said he will file soon.

I've known [Linda] for almost 40 years ... but when she starts trying to ruin our careers, it just ain't fair, said Beefcake to TMZ. Hulk is a tremendous person ... a great man who deserves to be happy, he added.

The Bollea marriage ended in 2009. After the split, Linda Bollea began dating a younger man named Charley, and Hogan became involved with a woman named Jennifer, who he later married.

Hogan, despite the split and all the turmoil, still seems to be satisfied with everything, tweeting last month:

Thank God any negative or blood sucking vampires are dead and gone in my new life.
