RTTNews - Tuesday, the Hungarian Central Statistical Office announced that the industrial production dropped 22.1% year-over-year in May, after falling 27.1% in April. A year earlier, the production was up 6.5%.

After adjusting for working day effects, industrial production declined 22.1% annually in May, compared with a 25.3% fall in the preceding month.

On a monthly basis, industrial production rose a seasonally and working day adjusted 2.6% in May, after falling 5.1% in April.

For the January to May period, industrial production declined 23.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.
