RTTNews - Friday, Hungary's Central Statistical Office said in a final report that the industrial production dropped 18.8% year-on-year in June, revised from 18.6% fall estimated initially. In May, industrial output fell 22.1%. Economists were looking for a decline of 19.9% for June.

On a working day adjusted basis, industrial output slipped 18.8% annually in June, revised from 18.6% drop reported initially.

Month-on-month, industrial output rose a seasonal and working day adjusted 1.7% in June, compared with a 2.6% growth in the previous month. The June month figure was revised from 1.9% increase reported previously.

For the January to June months of the year, industrial production slipped 22.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.
