RTTNews - Tuesday, the Hungarian Central Statistical Office said the country record a trade surplus of EUR430 million in April, an improvement of EUR381 million from the same month last year.

During the month, exports dropped 29% year-on-year to EUR4.6 billion, while imports fell 35% to EUR4.2 billion. The European Union member states had a share of 79% in exports and 69% in imports.

In the first four months of the year, the trade surplus stood at EUR1.05 billion, an increase of EUR718 million from last year. Exports fell 27% annually to EUR18.5 billion, while imports decreased 30% to EUR17.46 billion in this period.
