In a new teaser via Entertainment Weekly for “Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2,” Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) is seen in a red bodysuit, proudly standing on the statue depicting the sign for District 12. Her bodysuit also includes a brown cape and shields for her chest and legs. She can also be seen carrying a bow and arrow in her hand. The teaser ends with a message, “Stand by for a message from District 13.”

In conjunction with the teaser, a new poster also was released. It shows Everdeen sitting on a white throne, wearing a red suit and holding a red glove in one of her hands. She also appears to be carrying a set of red arrows on her back. The tagline reads, "The fire will burn forever."

In the film, Everdeen will confront President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final countdown. She will team up with friends Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), and will go on a full-scale war to liberate the citizens of Panem.

According to Lawrence, the film is more grounded in reality as compared to the previous film, "Mockingjay, Part 1." “It’s thematically very different. ['Mockingjay, Part 1'] was about the manipulation of media and propaganda, and this one is a real war movie. Very quickly, we’re getting out from the confines of District 13 and back out into the rest of Panem, including the Capitol. It’s a very different kind of landscape,” Lawrence told MTV News. She added that the film will provide real closure for the franchise and will have emotional and moving moments.

Francis Lawrence has directed from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig. Other cast members include Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, Jena Malone, Sam Claflin, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, Natalie Dormer and Willow Shields. The film is scheduled to open in theaters Nov. 20.
