SEOUL - Hyundai Motor Co, South Korea's top auto maker, has sold off a 1.68 percent stake in Hyundai Mobis Co, the car parts maker said on Wednesday.

Hyundai Mobis said in a filing to the Korea Exchange that Hyundai Motor sold 1.64 million shares in the firm after market hours, without disclosing the value of the transaction.

The Seoul Economic Daily reported on its website that the shares were sold at 141,000 won ($122.4) apiece, citing securities industry sources. (Reporting by Cheon Jong-woo; Editing by Jonathan Hopfner)
