Hyundai recently pulled a controversial ad for its humorous take on suicide. The ad depicts a man attempting to commit suicide using the exhaust of their new car, the iX35. The twist is the car produces only water vapor as exhaust.

Public response caused Hyundai to pull the ad and issue an apology for the ad, which was released by Innocean Europe, an in-house advertising agency.

"Hyundai Motor deeply and sincerely apologizes for the offensive viral film. The film runs counter to our values as a company and as members of the community. We are very sorry for any offense or distress the video caused." Hyundai Motor Company said in their press statement.
