“Vampire Diaries” fans should thank photographer Butch Hogan. The longtime friend of Ian Somerhalder has photographed the heartthrob -- naked in a bathtub.

The photos in question can be found on ButchHogan.com, and they leave little to the imagination. While the first couple of photos start off innocently enough (i.e., fully clothed), they soon lead fans to photos of the actor shirtless and eating Chinese food in bed, then to photos of him naked and drinking a Corona in a bathtub. Somerhalder teased fans about his photo shoot in mid-May, tweeting:

The actor's photo shoot with Hogan follows his split from his girlfriend of three years and "Vampire Diaries" co-star, Nina Dobrev. Since the breakup, Somerhalder has kept himself busy by traveling to promote his hit CW series and filming a new movie, "The Anomaly." The movie finished filming in London on June 22.

As for his former beau, Nina Dobrev, she posted her own sexy photos -- showing her bikini-clad on vacation! In between shooting her new film, "Let's Be Cops," and preparing for season five of "The Vampire Diaries," Dobrev took a break for some fun in the sun in Thailand with her brother.
