RTTNews - Thursday, a report by Statistics Iceland said consumer prices climbed 10.9% year-on-year in August, slower than a 11.3% rise in the preceding month. Consumer prices less housing costs rose 16.1% compared to the previous year.

Month-on-month, consumer prices were up 0.5%, faster than a 0.2% rise in the preceding month. Consumer prices less housing costs rose 0.68% from June.
