RTTNews - Monday, the Statistics Iceland announced that the trade surplus stood at ISK 39.8 billion in the January to July period, up from ISK 71.3 billion deficit a year ago. The trade surplus was ISK 32.97 billion in the January to June period.

For the January to July period, exports decreased 28.7% annually to ISK 253.49 billion, while imports dropped 49.9% to ISK 213.69 billion.

In July, the trade surplus totaled ISK 6.8 billion, larger than the ISK 33.3 billion deficit last year.
