RTTNews - Wednesday, the Statistics Iceland announced that the consumer price index or CPI rose 11.3% year-over-year in July, slower than the 12.2% growth in the previous month. A year earlier, the CPI was up 13.6%.

On a monthly basis, the CPI rose 0.2% in July, compared to the 1.4% rise in the preceding month.

Meanwhile, the CPI less housing cost increased 16.4% on an annual basis in June, and it was up 0.56% compared to the preceding month.
