RTTNews - Wednesday, the Statistics Iceland announced that the consumer price index or CPI rose 12.2% year-over-year in June, faster than the 11.6% increase in the previous month. A year earlier, the CPI was up 12.7%.

On a monthly basis, the CPI rose 1.4% in June, compared to the 1.1% rise in the preceding month.

Meanwhile, the CPI less housing cost increased 16.7% on an annual basis in June, and it was up 1.90% compared to the preceding month.
