RTTNews - Tuesday, the Statistics Iceland announced that the wage index rose 4.1% year-over-year in May, slower than the 4.4% increase in the previous month. A year earlier, the wage index was up 7.9%.

On a monthly basis, the wage index rose 0.2% in May, after falling 0.2% in April.

Meanwhile, the real wage index dropped 1% month-on-month in May, and it was down 6.8% compared to the previous year.
