RTTNews - Monday, the Statistics Iceland said in a report that the producer price index rose 13.9% year-on-year in May, faster than a 12.5% rise in the preceding month.

Producer prices for food grew 13.4% on an annual basis, while it was up 33.9% for marine products. However, producer prices dropped 12.6% for power intensive industry products.

On a monthly basis, producer prices increased 2.4% in May, much slower than a 7.2% rise in the preceding month.
