RTTNews - Saturday, the Iceland's Ministry of Finance reported that the Netherlands and U.K. governments signed agreements with the Iceland Compensation Scheme. Accordingly, the U.K. and Netherlands will receive the reimbursement for the money paid to eligible depositors in the Dutch and U.K. branches of Icesave.

The Iceland Government is also a signatory and guaranteed the amount outstanding to be paid over the remaining 8 years of the agreement.

The arrangement will enable the assets of Landsbanki to be realized over a period of seven years thereby securing maximum value to all creditors.
