After two less than stellar singles, it appears Def Jam Records has once again delayed Iggy Azalea’s upcoming album, “Digital Distortion.” Originally set to release on June 2 and then June 30, the Australian rapper has revealed her record is now in limbo.

In a series of now-deleted Snapchat videos, Azalea broke the news to her fans while slamming her record label. “Morning guys, just wanted to tell you a little story about my album pre-order because I have no idea when it’s coming out,” the rapper said to her fans.

“At first, everybody at my label, Def Jam, was like, ‘June 2! June 2!’ And I was like, ‘Cool!,’ so I told everybody that,” she continued. “But then they were like, ‘No, we changed our mind. Let’s put the pre-order up on June 2.’ So I was like, ‘Okay cool, that seems fair. What’s my album date gonna be?’”

According to Iggy, the label then said her album would release on June 30. The rapper said she went on to do various interviews and everyone she spoke with was aware of a June 30 release date. Azalea said she believed the label had finally settled on a release date but during an appearance on “The Tonight Show,” she realized the label changed the date again.

“But then, I went on Jimmy Fallon and I noticed him saying, ‘Digital Distortion,’ later this month.’” Azalea said she began to question the “later this month” placeholder. “That can’t be good. You’ve kind of backed away from having a real date.”

The rapper then went on to send an email to her label, asking what was going but received a subpar response. “[They said] ‘Iggy, I still don’t have the paperwork done, so it’s not going to happen.’”

According to the Daily Mail, Iggy also threatened to release her record label’s address so fans could protest, saying she was at her “wits end.” After deleting posting and deleting the Snapchat videos, Azalea uploaded another video apologizing for what she said, blaming it on “pretty strong meds.”

Originally announced in 2015, the Azalea’s upcoming project has gone through multiple delays and the artist even scrapped an entire record. “I promise you I had my whole record done and I scrapped the entire thing,” she told Zane Lowe of Apple Music. “It was good stuff, it’s not even that it was bad.”

According to Azalea, the reason for creating a new album had to do with her breakup from fiancé Nick Young. “I was talking about a lot of stuff on there and I ended up having a big break up and I just had a lot of life changes right before I was supposed to drop my album and I just felt like, ‘you know what? This is no longer reflective of what I want to say or what I want to talk about or who I am,’” she said.

The rapper also described the sound of her scrapped album, saying it came at a time when she was angry. “I think the first album, that I scrapped, was definitely very aggressive and angry and abrasive and that’s how I felt at the time.”
