RTTNews - The International Monetary Fund may adjust its global growth forecast for 2010 to just below 3%, reports said Tuesday, citing a senior economist at the lender.

Jorg Decressin said the IMF is set to release its new forecasts on October 1.

In July, the international lender had said the global economy would grow 2.5% in 2010.
