Patrick (Stephen Bishop) and his fellow FBI undercover agent Gina (Chastity Dotson) find out that Ezra (Rob Heaps) is not the man they thought he was.

In a sneak peek of Season 1, episode 8 of “Imposters,” a drunken Ezra forces his way inside a restaurant where Patrick, Gina and Maddie, a.k.a. Saffron (Inbar Lavi), are having dinner together.

“Look, I’m not gonna let you do it to somebody else,” Ezra tells Saffron, who are now discussing marriage with Patrick.

“Coz, I like you man, you seem nice,” Ezra says to Patrick, before claiming that Saffron is not the woman he thinks she is.

When Ezra starts telling them how he really met Saffron, the con artist quickly gets up from her seat and drags him outside of the restaurant before he can expose her real identity.

Patrick and Gina — who are posing as siblings as part of their FBI assignment to capture Maddie, and ultimately The Doctor (Ray Proscia) — are shocked by what they’ve just discovered.

“What the hell was that?” a surprised Gina asks Patrick after Ezra and Saffron leave the restaurant. “I thought he was working with her, the whole lame brother backstory and everything.”

“Yeah me, too” replies a confused Patrick.

In Season 1, episode 7, it was revealed that the FBI thought that Ezra was working with Maddie for The Doctor. And because Ezra and his fellow bumblers Richard (Parker Young) and Jules (Marianne Rendón) figured out that the FBI might have thought that they were Maddie’s accomplices, it’s possible that everything Ezra does in the sneak peek is just a way to let the authorities know that he, Richard and Jules are not part of The Doctor’s group of con artists.

Also in the episode, according to the synopsis, Maddie and Max (Brian Benben) hatch a plan to save their lives, but they’re dependent on the bumblers’ help. Will Ezra, Richard and Jules help their former spouse and her accomplice run away from the crimes they committed? Or will they team up with the FBI to catch them once and for all?

“Imposters” Season 1, episode 8, titled “In the Game,” airs on Tuesday, March 28 at 10 p.m. EST on Bravo.
