Ben (Sean Teale) is going to be very busy at work in Season 1, episode 7 of “Incorporated.”

According to the synopsis for the episode, titled “Executables,” Ben does his best to finish his mind-reading device, Everclear, on time. Although Spiga is a biotech firm that focuses on the development of genetic strains, new agricultural product and the production food for the entire world, Everclear will slash the company’s expenditure for intellectual theft prevention once it is completed.

In Season 1, episode 5, Ben told the higher-ups at Spiga that Everclear will be operational within a month. Although it’s unclear whether Ben will meet the deadline, the trailer for episode 7 shows a glimpse of him helping Spiga interrogate an enemy agent using the device.

The trailer also reveals that Julian (Dennis Haysbert) is starting to think that Chad Peterson’s (David Hewlett) intellectual theft case is connected to Roger’s (Douglas Nyback) recent death. “First Peterson, now Roger Caplan. I’m beginning to think that it was an inside job,” Julian says in the preview clip. “Only one person benefits from all of these.” Is he referring to Ben? Only time will tell.

Meanwhile, in the Red Zone, Laura (Allison Miller) tries to save a girl’s sight. Although It remains to be seen whether Laura will be successful, Stephanie Belding — who plays Laura’s former domestic help — teased on Instagram that “things get interesting in the Red Zone” in the remaining episodes of the season.

Theo (Eddie Ramos) also faces a well-conditioned opponent in next week’s episode. In his first ever cage fight, Theo won against his enormous rival, who was later killed by their boss Terrence (Ian Tracey). Theo must win again in his next fight so he doesn’t bite the dust.

“Incorporated” Season 1, episode 7 airs on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 10 p.m. EST on Syfy.
