Twenty-one people are feared dead after a bus accident near Rajahmundry, a city in the state of Andhra Pradesh in eastern India, Indian media sources reported Saturday. 

The van reportedly fell into an irrigation structure at around 5:30 a.m. local time, killing eight women and six children, among others. Two children were injured but survived. Pilgrims from another city in Andhra Pradesh had been riding in the van, New Delhi TV reported.
