RTTNews - Friday, the Reserve Bank of India said in a report that nation's foreign exchange reserves stood at US$ 271.239 billion as on August 7, down from US$ 271.641 billion as on July 31.

At the same time, gold reserves remained unchanged at US$ 9,671 billion. Foreign currency assets amounted to US$ 260.219 billion , smaller than the US$ 260.631 billion in the previous week.

Meanwhile, nation's reserve position with the International Monetary Fund totaled US$ 1.348 billion versus US$ 1.338 billion in the preceding week.
