RTTNews - India may face more impact of the global slowdown in credit- rating alongwith some Asian nations, reports PTI, quoting an S&P report. The agency said that the country could recover sometime next year following a sharp decline.

Standard & Poor's analyst Kim Eng Tan said that the negative impact on sovereign credit-ratings would be minimal, with the possible exception of negative outlook in India. However, there could be an extended recession, leading the country to four consecutive years of contraction, if there were major policy mistakes.
