RTTNews - According to Servcorp International Business Confidence Survey, India ranked the third best in the world in surviving the global economic crisis, reported PTI. The survey was conducted among businessmen to understand their business morale and the after effects of the economic downturn in April 2009 over a period of two weeks.

Australia ranked the first followed by China in the second place. India shared the third place with Singapore, while Hong Kong and Canada ranked in fifth and sixth places, respectively.

Most of the developing nations emerged favorites among international businessmen for their ability to withstand the recession. Out of 36 countries listed by Servcorp International, 21 countries are emerging market economies. Servcorp asked 7,500 international business people from over 24 nations to identify which nations they believe are surviving the crisis best.
