The Indian rupee that opened lower against the dollar on Tuesday morning reversed direction after hitting a low of 51.21 at 12:55 am ET. The rupee rose to 50.60 per dollar by about 7:20 am ET and this may be compared to yesterday's close of 51.15. If the Indian currency climbs further, it may find near term resistance around the 50.1 level.
