Indianapolis Colts vs Tennessee Titans, Where to Watch Online, Preview, Betting Odds

The Colts were able to draft quarterback Andrew Luck due to their dismal 2-14 record last season, but sitting at 3-3 with only three of their remaining 10 games against teams with .500 or better records, Indianapolis could make a run this year with the AFC having one of its weakest years.

Luck has guided the Colts to the same amount of wins that predecessor Peyton Manning did during his rookie year, and Manning didn’t make the playoffs until his second year.

The Colts have won largely without a running game this season, with starter Donald Brown out and rookie Vick Ballard taking over in Week 6 against the New York Jets. Ballard has gained 151 yards on 49 attempts this season.

Receiver Reggie Wayne’s decision to stay loyal to the team that drafted him has paid off huge dividends, as the All-Pro has 47 receptions for 666 yards, more than double the production of the Colts’ next leading receiver.

Indianapolis will go for their first AFC South win against Tennessee with their 26th ranked rush defense, just as Titans star running back Chris Johnson has found his stride.

Johnson continued his domination of the Buffalo Bills in Tennessee’s 35-34 win last week, with 195 rushing yards and two touchdowns for his second 100-yard game of the season. Johnson has 480 career yards against Buffalo, averaging 7.1 yards per carry.

The Titans garnered their first winning streak of the season after regaining and keeping the lead in the fourth quarter with a 15-yard touchdown from quarterback Matt Hasselbeck to receiver Nate Washington with 1:03 left in the game.

A mini-quarterback controversy could be in the mix until Tennessee head coach Mike Munchak figures out who will be his starter for the rest of the season when Jake Locker returns from a shoulder injury.

Hasselbeck has filled in since Locker went down in Week 4 against the Houston Texans. In three starts, Hasselbeck is 2-1 with 695 passing yards and three touchdowns to two interceptins.

Prediction:  Luck could have his best game as a pro against the Titans poor defense, which is letting up 34 points a game. Ballard may also have a breakout game. Tennessee will need Johnson to carry them to a victory for any chance.
