Friday, the Reserve Bank of India revealed in a report that nation's foreign reserves stood at US$ 252.33 billion as on March 27, down from US$ 253.83 billion as on March 20.

At the same time, gold reserves stood unchanged at US$ 9.75 billion. Foreign currency assets amounted to US$ 241.59 billion, smaller than the US$ 243.24 billion recorded in the previous week.

Meanwhile, nation's reserve position with the International Monetary Fund stood at US$ 982 million, up from US$ 841 million in the prior week.
