India's inflation slipped to 0.26% for the week ended March 28 compared to 0.31% in the previous week. Inflation was 7.75% during the corresponding week of the previous year, government data showed. The inflation for the week ended January 31 was revised to 3.98% from earlier reported 4.39%.

The prices of food articles grew 0.3% with higher prices of barley, ragi, bajra and fruits and vegetables and maize. Prices of imported edible oil increased. However, prices of tea and sugar declined this week. Fuel prices remained unchanged.
