RTTNews - India's exports for July declined by 19% to Rs.66,041 crore from the Rs.81,548 crore in the corresponding month last year. Imports dropped 28.8% to Rs.95,118 crore from the Rs.1,33,609 crore in the year-ago period.

July's trade deficit decreased to Rs.29,077 crore from Rs.52,061 crore due to higher decline in imports.

Exports between April-July fell 23.5%, while imports for the period were down 21.7%, causing a fall in trade deficit during the period.
