The US released its Initial Jobless Claims for September 19 showing a decline as it came in at 530 thousand; better than the forecasted reading of 550 thousand and the prior revised reading of 551 thousand from 545 thousand, while that the Continuing Claims for September 12 came in at 6138 thousand, which is better as well than the expected reading of 6183 thousand and the prior revised reading of 6261 from 6230 thousand.
