“Ink Master” teased the Season 8 finale on their website. “After blasting through challenge after challenge and showcasing phenomenal artwork, Ryan, Gian and Kelly have firmly secured their spots in the ‘Ink Master’ live finale. Which talented artist will ultimately win the title of ‘Ink Master’ and take home $100,000?”

After 7 seasons of “Ink Master,” the women of Season 8 were determined to take home a win. They created a “female alliance” and tried to knock out the men from the competition. Their strategy worked, bringing two female tattoo artists to the finale.

“It’s time that a strong, dedicated woman isn’t afraid to be herself and work hard for this title,” Ryan told Spike. “[She] is determined to become the first female #InkMaster,” the network added in Monday’s tweet.

But female alliances weren’t the only thing that was different about Season 8. The contestants were split up into two groups: Judges Chris Nuñez and Oliver Peck were given their own tattoo artists to mentor. Aside from the money, the winner of “Ink Master” gets to tattoo at their mentor’s shop. “I am the last member of Team Nuñez. We deserve to win,” Kelly told Spike.

Gian is the most consistent contestant. “I can do a little bit of everything,” he told Spike Monday. “I haven’t been to the bottom. I got what it takes to be ‘Ink Master.’”
