Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec have been the talk of the town since tying the knot on July 31, but it’s the “Dancing With the Stars” pro’s wedding fashion that we really can’t get enough of.

Johnson walked down the aisle in a Monique Lhuillier gown, but decided to switch things up for the second half of her big day. After saying their “I Dos” Johnson slipped away for an outfit change. People magazine reports that she stepped out after the ceremony wearing a two-piece custom dress. The gown was a major departure from the traditional strapless look she donned to kick off her and Herjavec’s nuptials. Johnson, 40, revealed that the dress, which consisted of an embroidered top and matching tulle skirt, was made special for her by the “DWTS” costume department. Johnson’s outfit change allowed her to bust out her best moves during the reception without being restricted by a heavy dress.

“The costume department made it for me,” she said. “I put it on for dancing!”

A wedding planner for the couple shared some new details on Johnson’s first dress. Michael Russo shocked People, sharing with “DWTS” fans that the professional dancer’s gown was “an off the rack dress.” He said that to make it her own, Johnson made a few simple tweaks, adding that she believed the gown was “the one.”

“Initially she said she didn’t want to wear a low back dress but there was something about this one that she was drawn to. She kept coming back to it!” he shared.

While photos from their wedding suggest Johnson and Herjavec, 53, had the perfect wedding day, it was not without it’s problems. On Wednesday People reported that Johnson’s ceremony dress nearly burst into flames before she and her now-hubby could utter their vows. Herjavec told People he and his bride noticed a strange smell in the air and thought someone near by was “having a barbeque.” Within moments they realized Johnson’s dress had caught fire after passing over a candle during her walk down the aisle.

“I almost went up in flames!” Johnson said. “Thank God my man of honor stomped it out with his foot. But underneath my dress is completely singed.”

Johnson and Herjavec met on the set of “DWTS” in 2015. Their relationship quickly turned romantic and they were engaged by February 2016. This marks Johnson’s first marriage and Herjavec’s second. In 2014 he and his first wife divorced after nearly two and a half decades together. They have three children together.
