Intel Corp posted an 8 percent increase in fourth-quarter revenue and forecast revenue of $11.1 billion to $11.9 billion in the first three months of 2011.

The fourth-quarter revenues slightly exceeded the $11.37 billion expected by analysts, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S. Analysts had expected Intel's revenues in the first three months of 2011 to come to $10.727 billion.
