Following the release of Evasi0n7, the untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 7, the evad3rs team rolled out version 1.0.1 of the jailbreak tool to the public earlier this week, which removed the controversial TaiG package that was bundled with the original release.

For those users who are yet to jailbreak their iOS 7 device, the updated evasi0n7 1.0.1 tool is the one to look out for. However, users who have already jailbroken their devices using evasi0n7 and now want to take advantage of the latest 1.0.1 update, there is no need to re-jailbreak as evad3rs has released an easy package update.

The newly released update, called evasi0n 7.x Untether 0.2, brings all the changes made to the 1.0.1 update, and is now available via Cydia’s default Telesphoreo repo.

Here is the official changelog on Cydia:

Version 0.2 of this package is what came with evasi0n7 1.0.1; it removes the TaiG splash screen and adds some features that saurik will be relying on in future updates to other packages. Users who jailbreak with evasi0n7 1.0.1 already have version 0.2 of this package installed.

If you have jailbroken your device using original Evasi0n7, head over to Cydia > Changes tab and update “evasi0n 7.x Untether” package. And, if you have already jailbroken with evasi0n7 1.0.1, there’s no need to try this update, because you already have the latest updated package installed.
