iPhone 4S
Track friends and family with the new application "Find My Friends" Apple

Apple launched its fifth-generation iPhone this month, and it has already crossed 4 million in sales after the first weekend, breaking all previous records.

The new iPhone 4S comes with some distinctive features and applications through iOS 5, like the “Find My iPhone/Find My Friends” app.

Find My Friends is an app designed to enable users (who are paying a whopping price for the new iPhone) to keep in touch with their loved ones. The application allows the user to track the location of their friends and family, especially when going out on tours and small trips.

The application is a great way to share your location with people who are important to you and the first person that fits into this “important” list is your partner.

It will be of big help to users who doubt their spouse/partner; tracking cheating spouses and catching them red-handed is now on every iPhone 4S user's fingertips. With just one click the user can quickly find “where they are and what they’re up to.” Not only this, one can even find the quickest route to reach their location.

Here is a plausible story from Macrumors about a man who recently bought a new iPhone 4S for his wife and secretly installed “Find My Friends” in it.

He shared his story on macrumors.com about how he caught his wife cheating on him.

He said “I got my wife a new 4s and loaded up find my friends without her knowing.”

“She told me she was at her friend’s house in the east village. I’ve had suspicions about her meeting this guy who lives uptown. Lo and behold, Find my Friends has her right there. I just texted her asking where she was and the dumb b!otch said she was on 10th Street!!”

Now the husband plans to divorce his wife and says that he will now meet her “at the lawyer’s office,” a few weeks later.

Well, it is not only limited to this story, whether it looks plausible or fake; the application is paired with parental control and parents can view the location of their child on a map. It would be just a matter of time before your folks find out if you are on a date when you were supposed to be at coaching class.

A lesser-known fact is that the application is self-regulated, one can turn it on and off according to their choice. So, next time when you lie to your wife about the official meeting, don’t forget to turn off “Find My Friend,” or else you might see her walking into your secretary’s house, where you were secretly having a gala time.

Thanks Apple. Thanks iPhone 4S, and not to forget thanks Find My Friends.
