Apple's iPhone cases are beginning to show up again as its release date draws near and this time it is allegedly listed in AT&T's inventory system, according to leaked photos sent to the media.

The alleged photo of AT&T's inventory system was leaked on Thursday and it shows the iPhone 5 cases arriving ahead of the smartphone, which is rumored to unveil next week.

The photo of the inventor shows that three different models N allefrom case manufacturer Case-Mate were already put into AT&T's inventory before Apple's Oct. 4 iPhone event, BGR reported. BGR.com first reported the leak.

The cases include Tough Case, Pop! Case and Barely There — in colors such as black, blue, gray, white, and pink. Earlier this month, Case-Mate put up images of the iPhone 5 cases on its Web site and took them down rather quickly, leaving a generic message stating that cases will be available when the smartphone users get their hands on the new iPhone.

The New York Times has reported that Apple is weeks away from launching the new iPhone 5. An Apple engineer source told the paper that the images seemed potentially authentic.

Reports are that Apple will launch two different smartphones, an iPhone 5 and a low-end iPhone 4S, in early October.

The rumor mill is also buzzing that Apple's next iPhone will have an 8-megapixel camera, an A5 processor, voice recognition integration or near-field communication technology, and slimmer design.

Apple is yet to confirm anything.
