An internal memo from the management of Sprint is suggesting that the carrier is set to launch the iPhone 5, Apple's fifth-generation iPhone, in early October.
Due to the possibility of a major phone launch in October we are blacking out September 30th through October 15th, the memo states.
Whenever a major device launch is at hand, vacation blackouts are common at carriers so as to ensure retail locations are well-staffed to deal with increased foot traffic.
There have be numerous reports that Sprint will launch the iPhone 5 in October.
BGR reported last week that Best Buy was already gearing up for preorders as the smartphone is expected early next month.
Apple manufacturers are reportedly making about 150,000 units of the iPhone per day.
