Apple iPhones and many tech gizmos are popular on Black Friday, but there are now three iPhones available at different prices (more if you include the two most expensive versions of iPhone 4S) to choose from. The prices vary, so if you can't decide just based on the price, here is what is different about each device.

The iPhone 4S is on Sprint, AT&T and Verizon for $200. If you want to buy an iPhone 4S with more built-in storage, then the price goes to $300 or $400 for 32 or 64 gigabytes. iPhone 4 is now $100 with a new two year contract and is also on all three major carriers. AT&T also has the iPhone 3GS for one dollar, though the Web site is currently out of stock. Depending on what you do with your phone can help determine which device is best for you, but the iPhone 4 for $100 is a super deal. If you are only using it for calls, texts emails and occasional Web browsing, the 3GS would actually be fine, however. Because it came out in 2009, though, in the next year, it's hardware could become a bit creaky when it comes to software updates and apps that will run on it.

For most people, iPhone 4 at $100 is the sweet spot. It lacks the Siri voice control recognition and its camera is not quite as good as iPhone 4S, but that's what you get for an extra hundred dollars. iPhone 4S does have a faster chip, so if you are an avid gamer, that could make a difference for you. The other reason iPhone 4 is such a great deal is because when compared to other $100 phones out there, it is superior. For brand new devices that are advertised at less than $100, iPhone 4 also is the better buy despite being over a year older.
