Best Buy thinks it’s fine to charge pre-order customers $100 extra on the already expensive $999 iPhone X, Bloomberg first reported.

The electronics retailer began taking pre-orders for the device on Friday. Best Buy is selling the 10th anniversary iPhone X 64GB model for $1,099 and $1,249 for the 256GB version. Meanwhile, Apple and other carriers are selling the iPhone X for $999 and $1,149.

Best Buy thinks it’s a good idea to charge the additional $100 on the device, saying the extra bucks are due to the numerous purchasing options available on the company’s site. Best Buy is offering the iPhone X with Verizon, AT&T and Sprint plans.

“Our prices reflect the fact that no matter a customer’s desired plan or carrier, or whether a customer is on a business or personal plan, they are able to get a phone the way they want at Best Buy,” a Best Buy spokesperson told Bloomberg. “Our customers have told us they want this flexibility and sometimes that has a cost.”

The higher prices aren’t even for a shorter delivery wait. Best Buy’s website currently says the iPhone X is expected to ship by Dec. 15, a longer time than customers who ordered on Apple’s website, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon have to wait.

Consumers went on Twitter to company about the extra $100.

With the additional $100, Best Buy’s price would be the same as Apple’s quoted price for those who use a carrier installment plan. The plan divides the device’s price in a monthly plan, which means that price is the same cost Best Buy is charging upfront.

Besides Best Buy, consumers can also pre-order an iPhone X through other retail sites like Target and Wal-Mart, and on websites of major carriers. The devices are available in two colors: Silver and Space Gray.

The iPhone X will be available to walk-in customers at Apple Stores on Nov. 3 at 8 a.m. local times. Apple encouraged customers to arrive early to get their hands on the device.

The iPhone X comes with a 5.8-inch edge-to-edge Super Retina display with OLED technology, a glass and stainless steel design, a vertical-dual camera system and an A11 Bionic chip. It features Animoji, supports augmented reality apps and wireless charging capabilities.
