iPhone X Screencap: Apple

The iPhone X may not be available to the public until Nov. 3, but there have been several live sightings Apple’s premium smartphone weeks before it is even available for preorder. Members of Reddit and other tech enthusiasts have shared several images of handsets with the telltale top notch of the iPhone X. There has also been a leak of the iPhone X packaging. Check out the image rundown below.

Though there has been many reports and opinions on the iPhone X since its Sept. 12 unveiling, Apple has overall remained silent about the device. The manufacturer shared technical documents on how features, such as Face ID work; however, other details from the company are minimal.

Apple has not allowed well-known reviewers to give their official opinion on the device, so thoughts about the smartphone are largely based on speculation and marketing content at this point. This hasn’t stopped tech pundits from giving preliminary thoughts on the device, critiquing its price, top notch, and potential for misuse of the Face ID feature.

Still, reports indicate that many Apple fans have forgone the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, which are currently on the market, in order to wait for the iPhone X. Reports also suggest production for the device may be slow until at least until March 2018, meaning the device may not be available in large quantities even once it's on the market.
