Bank of Ireland said that three-banks in the country may be required to raise as much as 9.0 billion euros in capital following the release of stress test result. Bank of Ireland PLC, which is considered the biggest bank in Ireland by market value, may be forced to raise as much as €5.0 billion in capital, while Irish Life & Permanent PLC will be required to raise €3.0 billion and EBS building Society will need €1.0 billion.
