RTTNews - Thursday, Ireland's Central Statistical Office announced that the consumer price index or CPI dropped 5.4% year-over-year in June, compared with a 4.7% fall in the previous month. A year earlier, the CPI was up 5%.

On a monthly basis, the CPI dropped 0.3% in June, after falling 0.5% in May.

Meanwhile, the harmonized index of consumer prices or HICP dropped 2.2% annually in June, compared with a 1.7% fall in the previous month. The HICP remained unchanged on month.
