RTTNews - Friday, Ireland's Central Statistics Office said the industrial production increased 3.8% year-over-year in April, compared with a 6.5% fall in the previous month.

On a monthly basis, industrial production dropped a seasonally adjusted 6.5% in April, in contrast to a 4.1% increase in the previous month.

For the February to April period, industrial production rose 1.4% compared to the same period of the previous year and it increased 1.7% over the preceding three months.

Meanwhile, industrial turnover rose 5.8% year-on-year in April, after falling 4.2% in March. Month-on-month, industrial turnover dropped 3%.
