RTTNews - Thursday, a report by Statistics Ireland said the trade surplus decreased to EUR3.1 billion in March from EUR3.6 billion in February.

Exports fell a seasonally adjusted 6% month-on-month in March to EUR7.2 billion, while imports remained unchanged at EUR4.1 billion. In February, both exports and imports were up 6%.

Year-on-year, exports rose an unadjusted 12% in March compared to a 5% fall in February, while imports declined 9% compared to a 22% drop in the preceding month.
