FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Non manufacturing index declined to the level of 54.1 points in November from the 55.8 points posted in October, according to the latest information by the Institute for Supply Management.

Market expectations were a smaller decline to the level of 50.0 points in the index. The report remarks that the index signals expansion in non manufacturing sector for the 56th consecutive month. Business activity increased in ten industries, while six industries showed a decline.

The employment component fell to the level of 50.8 points in November from the 51.8 points in October. On the other hand, inflation pressures pushed the prices component higher in November, reaching the 76.5 points level from the 63.5 points posted in October.
