Israeli air raids struck near the eastern border of Lebanon on Tuesday, Lebanese paper The Daily Star reports. Casualties from the raid were still unknown, according to security sources cited by the publication.

The report suggested the air raid struck near the town of Brital, which is near Lebanon's border with Syria. A tweet from a user named Hassan Ridha sent out a picture that claimed to show a rocket falling near the town. The exact target of the reported air raid is still unclear.

The region is a Hezbollah stronghold. Hezbollah immediately denied reports of the air raid.
