The Israeli shekel edged down against the US dollar during early deals on Friday. At 3:00 am ET, the shekel declined to 4.2071 against the dollar, compared to Thursday's closing value of 4.1812. This set a 19-day low for the Israeli currency. The dollar-shekel pair is currently trading at 4.1974 with 4.228 seen as the next target level.
