RTTNews - Italy's hourly wages remained flat month-on-month in May, after rising 0.1% in April, the statistical office ISTAT said Friday.

Year-on-year, the hourly wages rose 3% in May, slower than a 3.5% growth in the preceding month.

In a separate report, the statistical office said the total employment in big companies in the industrial and service sectors dropped a seasonally adjusted 0.1% month-on-month in April, and fell 1.3% compared to the previous year.
