The Italian Treasury was able to sell 8 billion euros of 6-month debt and 2 billion euros of 2-year debt, where yields on the 6-month bonds surged to 6.504% compared with a previous of 3.535% in the October 26 auction, while demand was 1.47 times compared with 1.57 a month earlier. In addition yields on 2-year bonds surged to 7.81%.
