RTTNews - Italy's non-EU trade surplus narrowed to EUR 155 million in June from EUR 555 million surplus in May, the statistical office Istat said Thursday.

However, it was a reversal from an EUR 2.3 billion deficit recorded in June last year.

Exports to non-EU countries fell 15.3% to EUR 10.71 billion after dropping 19.7% in May. On the other hand, imports fell 29.6% to EUR 10.56 billion following a 33.2% decline in the previous month.

Exports decreased for the sixth month in June, while imports slide for an eighth straight month.
